I suggest making the cephalopods slightly larger and maybe adding another color for shading. Maybe a little background image? Zooming in on the design would be helpful for people rating the submission.

even with the zoom it is really difficult to tell what is happening...aside from the obvious...i think that maybe if there were different colors on the squid and octopus it would help alot. As of now you have only used one color two would be easy to do and even making each of them two tone of different colors might be alright...either way I like the drawing but I dont think that I would wear it myself...

I'm torn here. The only way to figure out what's going on is the heart icons, but they detract so much from the design. Show, don't tell: drop the little hearts, and illustrate the octopus and the squid more clearly, so that their entanglement speaks for itself.

thanks for the comments, but i really like it as a line drawing. i could have shaded it but i decided it looks good like that. maybe i'll submit another version with shading.

You can still keep it as a line drawing, just maybe change the color of the lines on one of them so it makes it a little clearer.

Add shading to the outlines, and this would get a 5. Great idea, amusing in it's subtlety.

Like the concept but think it needs to be a little more obvious. It's hard to tell what they are from far away.

zoom up the picture - as in, make it larger, and i give it a definite FIVE

okay i know it's tiny. but i'll just say it may look better with rounded off lines, instead of the square ends.
maybe even beef up the line width a bit to make them more visible. other then that, great concept, and great coloring. oh just for the heck of it you should try out different locations on the shirt, just for reference. |
