This is my first threadless. It\'s the broken heart bear from my series of cartoon characters. Each character is a physical image of a different emotion. This little guy got his heart ripped out. Is he looking up at the person wearing the shirt or floating off to heaven?

i have a hoodie that says "broken hearts club" on it and has a heart with a bandaid across it on the front.

i suggest you change the name.

"Broken hearts club" is a phrase from popular culture. I'd be surprised if it were copyrighted. Besides, it's not as if he put it on the shirt. It's a title.

it's very cute but it needs something else. and maybe it'd look better if it weren't in the center. other than that, two thumbs up!

yeah looking at this on a different computer the shirt color is blinding! haha anyway it can be on another color and i guess the ultimate choice is up to threadless . also as for the broken heart club, thats just a title to call the shirt so it's not printed on it anywhere. i played around with different locations of the image also and the center turned out to be the most fitting and lastly kilgoretrout the bear's heart is broken because you arent a fan. thanks for the comments everyone, this is a fun process whether my shirt is printed or not

It would look better on blue (that green just hurts my eyes!) Plus if you kept with the theme of blues, it would match the sad mood of the bear.

so cute I could die. though I'd lke to see another small design element, maybe just a little shadow to ground him. or a little wilted flower in his hand. not sure about the color choices, though. not too keen on the blue wiht the green shirt. I like the bright colors, I just feel like the colors aren't quite working together as it is now.

i considered a shadow as well, but i really wanted him to have a floating effect. i placed one lower to give an idea of "hovering" but it was too much. i really wanted this to be as simple as i could get it. thank you for the constructive criticism though. always good to hear from another designer/illustrator.
