I prefer it with the text, but I also think that it would look stupid if you added the text in.
Also I think the beak/feet/cone/etc could stand out a little more. This said, $4, I like it and I don't know why. |

I actually like the monochromatic-ness (?) of it, and the simplicity of the design rocks. Just center the penguin, and you win.
