it turns out the WWF is particularly aggressive around their trademark. they made the world wrestling federation change it's name, for gosh sake. they wouldn't let my company use WWF as an acronym for a part of our product. so, i can't imagine they'd be comfortable with seeing this printed. |

Umm, it's called a parody, people. wtf? I think it's amusing. I don't know if I'd wear it, and it sounds like you might have some trouble getting it printed, but keep trying! Submit enough designs as clever as this and it's bound to turn out well. |

I like it, even if it is rather scary.
But yes, there could be copyright problems. Parody is one thing if you're not profiting from it, but once you start selling objects with the image on it the copyright lawyers will probably come after you. |

Anonymoose - how does that jive with things like Weird Al Yankovich taking existing songs, parodying them, then making boatloads of money off the parodies? If something is protected as a parody, it can't be dependent on making money, or Weird Al would be totally screwed.

Weird Al actually gets permission before he does the parody and then shares writing credit with the original writer so they both make money off it. A little different than this. Cool design, but I would've liked it better with an original panda design.
