About my design
by Kirt
My first threadless submission. I tried it with more than one color, but decided I liked the simplicity of this one more.

i second the chalkboard feel- but it'd look awesome with chalky looking lines.

In my opinion the second image (stickman) is simpler than the first. If you could switch the two somehow, so that the first image is the stickman's head, and the second image was slightly more complex than that, then i think it could work.

staffell, you bring up a point that has been mentioned on another forum that I was pimping this design at. And I tend to agree with the critique to some degree.

Although the idea is that most new artists will start with drawing just an oblong head before moving onto stickmen, I think a fix that may be suitable would be to remove the hair from the first and add it to the second. Maybe an ear or fingers as well?

I appreciate everyone's comments here so far. Thank you.

kirt, staffell;
I think removing the nose from the first face would be the best way to solve the problem. To me that's what makes that one "too complex". Even only removing the nostrils would help a lot.

$five if you fix that :) - well done! like all the colors too

Ha. Nice.

I love the idea.
Not so into the kiddish drawings though.

Very clever.

The drawings are a little too childish for me...but I guess that's the point, isn't it?

i like it. the only way you could make it a little better, is if you like change the style as it progresses. like the last one could be shaded or something. other than that it's awesome.

i think the first head should be a uncomprehensible scribble. as in the FIRST thing you ever draw. Otherwise.....word. 3
