I would change the eye and mouth color to something more visible, mabey black or white, and mabey show grass pushing up around the root, to make it a little more clear.

I know the design is massive... but the original (designed with good size) got denied because it was 'too small'.
Hmm... Maybe it just needs a more compact graphic. Thanks for the comments so far, btw. |

yeah, it really reminded of the giving tree, i like it. i think a more pronounced smile on the tree would be better, though.

It looks really good. Some of the first comments said the root doesn't look like a root, I disagree, I recognized that instantly. Sometimes a split second delay gives the shirt more meaning. But I will agree that the face could use a makeover. 5$

I like the idea and the alteration of Mr. Silverstiens book. However, I don't see wearing it. I still give it a 4 because the thought while not totally original , it sure beats secoond hand opinion liberal political statements and over done text, blood, crows, and CMYK.

so cute! and clever! i like it a lot but i think it could work better without the face on the tree, or the text i think it the picture itself (minus face and words) says everything! joys of simplicity..and makes people think about it more too

Although it took me only about a split second to understand that it was a root, I would agree with the crits about the smile--white would probably make for a better contrast. You get a 5 and buy from me, it's too sweet!
