hot stuff!

teh idea and name rule the design is a bit hard to see .. at first. could just be that there are too many lines and that my eyes aere shitty but liek I said teh idea rules

eh. i dont care for the colors. the overall design is really interesting tho. it liked the black and creamy colored version you posted in a blog a while ago. it wasnt so hard to look at.

Well drawn! I actually just had a nearly identical concept (trippopotamus) soundly rejected by Threadless. The elephant is MUCH better done, though.

wasn't too into this when i first saw, but then i realized it would probably look wicked as a t-shirt.

Know what's really neat about this? The elephants back leg that's just black & negative space. I don't know why but it is really graceful.
Where's my cake? |
I want it so that when people say, "What's that on your shirt?" (Which they will) I can say "Psychedelephant, dummy!" (Which I will)

way too much going on with his edges but the colors are great, oh and i don't like his feet....they're too comic-y. nice work though!
i like the grey version.. it's really nice. i would only suggest thickening the outline of the body, head and eye if not it looks really confusing lol. 5

I agree, the original colors were much better. The green and yellow doesn't pop as much as the purple, yellow and brown. When the original colors are available, I'd buy it.

its cool..but that front leg just looks retarded. the body doesnt really look composed. it looks as if its deformed.
it's not supposed to look photorealistic, raffi, it's supposed to be distorted, surreal and weird...trust me, i could draw a photorealistic elephant if i wanted to.

I really like it, and I wish they'd reprint it :( I can't really tell if I like the brown or green better, but It still is a really good design.
