Robsoul on Dec 12 '05 It'd be great to see a kids hand in there holding the plane, it doesn't have to be too detailed, just possibly alluding to the hand, whether it just be a dotted line or executed by other means.
I know whenever I use to build model planes as a kid I'd sit there for hours and be easily amused making putting noises (like the kid in Hope and Glory) of it flying around...ahhh good memories The reason I say this is because the propellers are not moving, which kinda bugs me. The type is also unnecessary. Great detail and rendering otherwise. |

as i said in the post beforehand, I think the wings look a little weird... they seem totally flat instead of 3-d like the rest of the image. I like it overall though.

i'm not all that interested in the idea itself -- a plane dropping a bomb says things i would not want to say on a shirt. i think rob's idea is one way to proceed -- humanize it by making it obviously a kid playing with a plane. another option would be to have the plane involved in some situation, or flying over some recognizable place. bombing snow white's castle, for instance.
it's also hard to see this design. the wings do look weird to me, and i can't zoom in to see whether that's just an effect of the low res. |

That's a sweet drawing! I would go with the hand too it would add something to the picture. As is it is kinda boring (like a normal airplane shirt) but the realistic drawing of the plane contrasted with a kid's hand would have a neat effect. Still damn cool though

hooooly crap. this design is amazing. I probably wouldn't wear it but its still great.
I was wondering how the words would look if positioned on the shirt like it is on the close up. And maybe the bomb a little further away. I'm not sure if that would make it look better... they're just suggestions because I'm curious. everyone at threadless hates text. stupid text haters. i think it adds to the design, especially the way avenge is colored red and there is the star symbol. DON'T LOSE THE TEXT |

I love the picture, well done. My only problem with it is the 'Avenge the Day'. I know its playing on the name of the plane, but most people would assume its some emo band shirt.
And emo is pretty lame. |
