The arrow detracts from the look of the shirt, and I don't understand what it means. I agree, the shirt would be purely better without it.



I'm also not sure what's going on. Maybe these people are the last remaining beings from amongst the peoples who used to live on this largely aquatic and alien planet. They've escaped the eco-catastrophe wrought by their thoughtless extermination of all irritating bugs. Their planet is now uninhabitable. They are standing on the bridge of a generation ship, looking back at their home as they begin the search for another planet to inhabit. Some day, they'll find earth, and the battle will begin....

i am tired of people telling designers to take their sxsw arrow out of their freaking sxsw submission . . . it is part of the damn contest, FIGURE IT OUT

i'm sorry, but dreamCrusher, you are confused beyond all saying. you've been here a month, you've looked at maybe 250 shirts, and you're already tired of what people say?



there's nothing in the rules that says you have to have a funny red arrow in the middle of a shirt for it to be appropriate to this contest.



if you decide to include the funny red arrow, you have to fit it into the design.



this particular design either doesn't work, or it kind of works if you could lose the arrow (and then figure out what the rest of it meant).



the contest might constrain or trigger design ideas, but ultimately we judge the shirts based on their absolute quality. nobody is going to buy a shirt that doesn't work because it was best among a set of shirts that didn't work but all had red arrows....

Thanks for the comments, steve. I agree with you. I got complaints from other people I know about the arrow, but I thought the design lacked something without it. Also keep in mind that if printed I can remove the arrow from the design and add any other changes that people suggest. Point being, don't base your score solely upon the arrow. Thanks!

People around here like to bust each other's chops now and again and sometimes the "humor" of the comment gets lost.

I like this even with THAT BIG RED ARROW (OH MY GOD ITS THE END OF THE WORLD), sorry, but yes I like the design the only problem for me is the planet, is it supposed to be the moon? Because it looks like it is trying to be the moon, and failing, but I get it.

Dieses ist was ich denke, meine eigene Meinung - I like the design. I do think the arrow could be smaller but I like the way it points toward TX -or you could eliminate it as it is a bit distracting but I think it is just because it is so large.

And I also think crude people with crude, unhelpful comments should not be allowed to be a part of threadless.
