What's the goal though? A castle? What's the motivation to do the maze?

I think that they are trying to say that there are many different dead end before you actually find actual love. I think that the tower with the lady and the mote represent that the guy will go through all types of trouble to get to the lady he loves and do anything for her. I'm not really sure though. That's my thoughts.

i like the concept you're trying to portray, or at least the one that i think you're trying to portray...is it that its a hard journey to find the love of our life kind of thing? though i'm not sure if using the prince and princess is the best way to depict it. or it could be, but you'd have to enhance itmore, like maybe try the prince on a horse with armor, and the princess with longer hair? (not sure about the princess front). you could also add little 'maze blocks', like a forest, or dragon, or something. but i think its a really great design concept
:)

I'd make both people a little more defined. I almost overlooked the lady in the tower the first time because I just thought it was an extension of the tower.

...I saw it kind of as a Mario looking to save the princess kinda thing.

...

But yeah, the serious stuff works, too.

Switch sides for the prince and the castle
so the prince has to travel from left to right.
Then have the exit path spelling out "I luv U"

I agree that left to right is more natural to read, but I don't think the exit path needs to spell anything out. I really like this concept.

i found a shorter alternate route. did anyone point that out already?
i agree flip it horizontally.

Things to know about this sub....

Originally the design WAS flipped, but upon request it was changed, so if printed that could be easily changed.

Since the maze is in the shape of a heart, we thought it would be a bit redundant to have a HEART at the end of the maze instead of the princess, but helo's idea of spelling out 'i luv u' might be even better than the princess idea, since we were kind of unsure about that to begin with.

"is it that its a hard journey to find the love of our life kind of thing" yes, that's what we're trying to portray, and we agree that the princess idea probably isn't the best way to show that. Maybe a resubmission later?

About the "short alternate route": that was originally the path I had on the design, but since it's supposed to be a "difficult maze" the shorter route didn't really convey difficulty in my opinion. Thanks for the comments, everyone!

i agree with the dead ends till you find real love! i think there should be some dragons and trees inside the heart in a few places, to show theres some obsticles. ;)
NICE THO.

Hm, I love it. Flip it horizontally, as suggested, & make both prince & princess more defined. I love the idea of horse & armor.
But, definately DON'T spell out "I luv U." In my opinion, that would take this shirt from a 5 down to about a 3. I hate it when the theme/idea of a shirt (or anything, for that matter) is overemphasized. Words are unneccessary, & they'd crappy the thing up.

But, yeah, I love it.

You really shouldn't spoil the fun of a maze by marking the path through it.

The princess looks like a cocktail stick.

needs to be more defined somehow.

This is great! I love the idea, but I do agree that somehow the princess could be a bit more obvious.

I think this is a bloody FANTASTIC shirt!! $5 for you! Though I would buy it in the current state, it could be improved a little. I think the prince/princess idea is a good way to portray the idea so stick with it, but you need to show that they actually are a prince/princess. The prince needs to be on a horse with armor and perhaps a sword and the princess needs to be more defined. But god, this is a brilliant shirt, I want to be wearing it right now!!
