the illustration is great--wonderful use of line weight and shape. perhaps make the image a bit smaller on the actual t.shirt. it also looks as though you have more than four colors--be careful of that.

I'm definitely seeing three greens on his chest (the wavy lines show up against both the pale green and the mid green in the middle), plus black and white - it's 5 colours. Pity, because the idea and style are both great.

maybe i'm just slow but i can't figure out how he got his feet to do that in the water. it just seems impossible to flip your feet completely around so they face up. - again...maybe its just me.

other than that and the armpit boob - i love the shirt.

okay, this could work really well, but id lose the girl. creature from the bblue lagoon in the bath is genius, i dont think we need the chickadee but keep the duck, it makes the image.

Erase the girl but leave everything else as-is and I'd give it a 5.

okay, holy shit. Those lines on the chest are never black, they may be a semi-opaque black or be rockin a halftone but they aren't black rasterised pixels on my monitor. They look black on the closeup granted so i'd say it's just the anti-aliasing on the size reduction that's caused the discrepancy. Colour tools or not, but I wouldnt expect everyone to start using software to backup what they can see with their own eyes.

In the close-ups thing they look pretty black...
syzygy196 couldnt be more wrong, I think the duck is perfect. I think it would lose a lot of interest without the girl, she has a nice expression. are they in a bath? I think there should be some cattails or some weeds in the water if its supposed to be located in da lagoon. It is also a little bit too big I think.

Ok kathodos, if Your eyes see five, six, seven colours, - that makes no matter, it's ok. But if someone says 'watch out, this image doesn't respect Threadless rules because my eyes see 5 colours even if i know it's four', - well, it does a matter.

If Threadless truly likes the shirt, they won't care if it has more than 4 colors. They have printed shirts before that had more than 4. It's a nice design...and I like it on red!

Did you get the inspiration for this shirt from a movie? If so, from which movie? I seem to remember a scene almost exactly like this one in a campy horror film and would love to know the title.
