I l0ve the art, but I prefer it not centered. I like the bottom placement... have you tried the upper right as well?

i love the art. i don't like it centered though, and sadly, i don't really like the bottom placement either. maybe just offcentered on the bottom or on the top. i like the idea of the upper right. excellent design though.

thanks for the comments so far.
i did actualyl play around with the placement. i think i might like it best near the shoulder my self. my last submission was close to the shoulder and some people said they weren't too crazy about that, so i didnt' even try it at first with this one. you can take a look at a different placement here... http://www.artieache.com/junk/birdplacement.jpg |

it's a great illustration but i think the problem is that the black behind the bird is a bit too dark and so it makes the placement awkward. If you lighten that or take it away all together it may be easier on the eyes. It wouldn't be bad on the upper right (but not too high up i.e. around the place a chest pocket might be).

well actually i added that black because it looked horrible with out it.
haven't tried other colors tho! i will def. try it if i choose to resubmit it with changes... |

Don't think you need the black in the background, it's a little to blockish for the very natural lines of the drawing.

Awesome colors and drawing! I agree with the background making it look a little awkward. Maybe emliminate it all together or change the shape of it. but out of all the placements the bottom is the best. Nice job!

lower lefthand corner- they'll resist, but are they your masters? it's just good sense. it';; make him look a little more forlorn- plus it makes people look at my stomach/ side, and that's the goal.

Awwww, I heart the tin-bird! Actually, he reminds me of the Stinky Cheese Man because of the way his head is shaped.
I think centered works best. Not sure how I feel about the background; it's cool, but I don't know if it is really necessary. I actually like it on the deep red color that is behind the blown-up version of the design - if you put it on a shirt that color, I would definitely buy it! Good job. $4 |

i looked at the link with additional placements.. i think i dig the upper right the best also, it looks great either way, but it might look cool without the black rectangle just a thought though nice work! |

i love it, but i will not even touch it if it's on the bottom. I didn't like it there *at all*. if it is on the shoulder or center, it's a $5. so i'll vote %$ if you give me your solemn word that it will be on the shoulder or the center.

i don't really like it on the bottom my self. i prefer it on the top... just felt like putting that up so i can hear what placements people like.

I looked at your new version and I actually like the original better. It's more raw. I think it also looks better dark with the thought bubble on the left side.
