Heh, a friend of mine pointed that out too. I completely overlooked that possibility. But no, resugar is right, it's a cut on her leg, covered by a bandaid.

can't change the hair color without going over four colors. make the bandaid more obvious, and the problem's solved.

Move the bandaid and just get rid of the hair... or make it that dark blue. You could get rid of it completely though and I think it would look fab.

I agree with the above statemnets... make her toe bleeding or her knee or something so that it's clear. I like the idea a lot, I like how vague the image of the shark is - very JAWS.

you need her full legs on this one it looks like some other shark has bit her legs off and shes just got stumps left , then there wouldnt be an issue for the period statments. good idea tho.

From a distance the bandaid looks like a bone sticking out of heramputated leg. Also, I thought the hair was blood too. I thought the shark had already gotten her!

I agree with the blood/hair comments, but would also like to mention that this shirt gave me the willies. ( I wouldn't go swimming at the beach for weeks after I saw Jaws.) Awesome job!

As for me, I LOVE this design. I agree about the hair color, that threw me off at first. Placement of the shark and everything is terrific. 5$

Did the shark bite off her head? It's cool, but I'm confused.

I'd like it without the blood. Overall it's really well illustrated and I like the pose she's swimming in.

Please take the tips on band-aid/hair color/bloody area placement & resubmit...you have something very good on your hands.

The best part of the illustration, is the ever so tiny detail of her foot. It's almost poetic.

i think that it is perfect the way it is. the swim away thing would look kind of cool on it too but i would wear it as is.

as a summaray of the different suggestions:
1. the hair did also confuse me but as someone earlier pointed out it would be difficult to change and stay withing the four colors
2. the bandaid would be difficult to move as right now it gives depth and curvature to her leg
3. the blood is a necessary element because that is what is going to doom her seeing as sharks smell blood and go after it
4. the leg positions took me a while to get and I think that I agree that extended a little bit more so that we could at least see her feet better would be less confusing.

Overall if some of these suggestions were implemented it would be sweet. $5

I truely appreciate the presentation of the design, but the design itself needs work. Seeing as how my suggestions are all included in above comments, I shall leave you with complementation on your shadowing and bubbles.

Thanks again for the suggestions. I often take certain elements of my designs for granted (like the blood placement & the leg angles) and fail to notice possible issues. I'll resubmit with the needed alterations.
