a description would help with this... I almost didn't put it up in this comp

Nice design, although I'm confused about it as well... And I think making the ocean part of the globe just the slightest tint darker than the shirt color would really help to ground it.

id suggest to make the oceans part in a darker(or lighter) color than the shirt( as suggested by gamevy).then lose the earth-continents outlines(so the only black element wich should stay there would be the ropes).then we get a great design.but really too far related with the contest theme(as shimala remarked).hope this is constructive
;)

sorry for not including a description, the flock of birds are 'interactivated' in pulling the world - i.e. the people, with connections to the 'world wide web' etc etc. The idea was to combine both the technological side of SXSW and a more subtle 'interactivated' link, as the word itself is non-existent and so can be interpreted in different ways.

nice work, I'd prefer a blue planet though.

I'd change the colors, but other than that, all is a go.

A lighter, less murky shade of blue would be better. Navy would work too. But this is pretty cool.

Little Prince- that's what I thought, too. I love this design, though. I like the ocean color as is

This reminds me of something. Isn't there a book or short story where a bunch of birds are tied to something to make it fly?
AssemblyLineHuman
AssemblyLineHuman on Nov 09 '05
OH! It's James and the Giant Peach! They're in a giant peach that's being pulled around by a bunch of birds. =X

Oops, forgot about the illustration. I think interactivate is a little bit of a stretch here, but it works. The illustration and colors are very well-done. 4

I really like the design but agree with most other people that you should colour the ocean part so it is different from the colour of the tee.

Oh!! I really like this.

I agree with the color though. The shirt is fine, but the oceans should be a different blue.

i love this shirt, the message it conveys is lovely, and the birds are almost like star.

Huh, I assumed that it was kind of a world peace picture... Doves kind of symbolize peace and I figured because they were bringing the world together...

I'd still buy one even though I'm wrong.

Keep the colors as they are. the dark grey is wonderful, any blue in the oceans would make the design far too busy and I think that the message of the design itself wouldn't be as clear or simple on a bright blue shirt. Very nice.

....The whole idea makes a lot more sense when you explain it -- my thought was that the world was awry, so we must recrify it with.... peace. Or something. I'd like to see a bit more tilt to the axes -- just because. You're ok with the thing, it's just me. I don't know what to think about the ocean color.

The best tee I've seen all day. Wonderful concept, beautiful art. I like the fact that the ocean blends with the tee, myself. I'd give it a 5! Good work, I hope it sells!

i like this concept. actually, i'd rather have the green change rather than the blue. make the green lighter.

nice concept, but the shade of green you used kinda hurts the eyes when mixed with the gray...

I thought they were peace doves too. I live in the peace and justice house at school and it would have to happen. I love the colors you used.

I almost hope it doesn't win so that I won't have to spend more money on these damn wonderful tee shirts.
