About my design
by Azuryx
So it's another submission. Choice 1 is to pass it over. Choice 2 is to stop and think for a second about it. Now laugh.

So this is a different style again from the other stuff I've submitted; I think it looks better. That's because I'm beginning to get an idea of what I'm doing. Once again, I'd like to hear feedback and input on any aspect of it.

Word.

It's a little too Veggie Tales-ish

Your skill has definitely improved over your previous designs. I'd work on stepping out of the anthromorphized object subject matter box...

or maybe not.

Very funny! Though the center placement makes it a bit boring... perhaps you could try putting one on each shoulder? At any rate: nice job!

I love it and I never thought I would say it, but I would wear it 5-$.

Faces are great. Center for shirts is the only way to go in my opinion, unless it is a pocket placemet insignia. I will never buy an off center shirt.

wouldprefer black rather tham purple for the egg.

Thanks so far, and here are responses to a few things:

It looks awkward anywhere but center considering they're looking at each other. That's half of the point. Eggplant, egg-plant, you know...

The shading on the egg is purple because it looks weird with the dark green. Yes, that's dark green, not black. You can tell a lot easier when it's against white. It just makes it look moldy.

I gave it a 5 cuz when i was a kid I thought an eggplant was an egg... plant. oh and on my bearbbq design it wasn't a gradient it was an overlapping dropshadow from the shirt, not acutally in the design... my mistake... check it out.

Veggie Tales huh? I've never even seen Veggie Tales. I mean I know it exists, but I have no idea what it looks like. So this isn't influenced by that, but I guess it's possible that it could still look like it. Oh well.

If that's the case, I still say vote based on what you see, not what you think it looks like or reminds you of, unless Veggie Tales is a positive thing to you. Thanks for the rest of the comments everyone.

Would work better if the egg didn't have a stem. At first I thought it was a blanched, smaller egg plant and all meaning was lost. I love the expressions and the idea. 4

...laugh at what?

Well I'd laugh if you found it at all amusing. Or, if you're really that cynical, you could laugh at the pathetic attempt that you as an elitist would scorn as crap.
