Wikipedia says that photographic fixer is a chemical used in the final step in the photographic processing of film or paper. Fixer is used for processing all commonly used films, including black and white films, colour negative films (C41), colour reversal films E6, and chromogenic films.
If digital photography continues its steady popularity, our friend fixer might go down the tubes forever. Which may or may not be a bad thing. |

HAHAHAA, back in high school, I used to show up to all my afternoon classes with my hands reeking of fixer. The really weird part is, chicks dug it... might not be able to use the word "Powershot" as that might be trademarked, but $4 anyways for the trip down memory lane

Ah... yes, fixer is great... much more hip than stop bath. I have a much-used darkroom in my basement and I'm proud of it. Love the idea of the shirt, but I agree that a tad higher on the placement would be optimal. Also, a shirt of more color would be nice... perhaps a green or blue?

i agree with the punkchick. i only got the joke (and it is a good one) because of three photography modules i did in high school. i don't really know how you would broaden the joke... but at least it made me laugh a little. kudos.

despite how many people get the joke, i think it's worth printing solely because those who do get it LOVE IT. everyone i've told about this design has no idea why i think it's hilarious, but that kind of makes it funnier somehow...

Oh at first I didn't get the message - then I realised what a fixer was and then was transported back to the time when I did Photojourn class & had to develop my photos in the dark room! :)
