What action is only illegal if you're caught in the act, and never if caught after? I held off on submitting this because I didnt want it showing up immediately after that other fish design was printed.

you have consistently the best stuff on here. How many have they printed of your stuff? Your designs read well, and actually work on SHIRTS, not just in art class. kudos $5, big time.

I like the idea, but a shirt very similar to that (blue shirt color, fish bowl, goldfish) was just printed. http://www.threadless.com/product/322/Goldie

yeah I saw that, thats why I waited to submit mine, but I had already made it before I saw it...I was scared people would think I had copied that design because of the similar colors, but I didnt. Luckily the ideas are completely different.

looks very sharp. obviously, all you might need to do is change the color shirt to a different shade of blue and maybe make the fish an orange color in order to escape the comparison.
but the illustration itself is top notch.

I guess you're right, but thats just because thats how fishbowls look...and with only 4 colors white is the best single color for the bowl. I would never steal someone else's design, and I had already finished this image when the Goldie one was printed, but thanks to everyone for the nice comments despite the similarities.
