i adore your work, and this is definitely the strongest so far conceptually. i got the chessness right away, and i'm glad there's no text, but the image doesn't quite convey the message yet. i think even moving the middle figure further to the left would help a lot, the king and queen could even overlap slightly. just to add that sense of distance from the poor, poor pawn. i also think the queen could be a bit haughtier, maybe with her head thrown slightly back. but this is all nitpicking, i would buy it in a second.

Why do your designs require so much in the way of excuses and explanations? Shouldn't people just "get it" when they see it? I'd have to hand out informational pamphlets to people if I wore your designs so they'd understand what they would be looking at.
Why don't you try simplifying your messages to match your uh...style? |

Except for hazelip's of course, but then I expected that from him (he's probably got a link on his website to this, again, like with my other subs, to show how funny and clever he is) I'm surprised J-Ray hasn't slagged it off yet. There's still time I guess. Although I don't see the point of commenting on someone's work that you KNOW you won't like- unless (J-RAY AND HAZELIP) you just wanna look big and clever. But anyway, bitterness aside, thanks so much y'all. I'm taking in all of your comments, they're all really useful |

This is one of my favorite designs, and I would definitely buy it. I think the placement is great, and it's great that there's no text. You don't need text for a shirt like She Doesn't Even Realize so I see no reason why you should have it here. The point definitely gets across, and the design is adorable. I do agree that if the queen had her head back a little and the king was closer to the queen it might be a litte better, but as is it's still great. Bravo! $5
