(Although, the rind doesn't look quite right around the right edge of the moustache. Doesn't feel like its bending enough...) |

people who would need text to get it wouldn't prolly know who Escher is. so text is unnecesary in this case.

I'ma give you a 5, but you need to redo the illustration. Look at escher and note how that print worked, its not like he cut the head and pulled the pieces apart, the head was still proportional. yours isn't. Not easy, i know, but thats the way Its gotta be.

i'm really impressed by this. escher may have done it differently, but you're not escher so i forgive you. i would like it with text, not because i didn't realize it was einstein and escher, but because i didn't get the connection. besides the fact that the pun is just funny!

tomburns on Oct 19 '05 i did the drawing from a photo, so it is proportionate. the reason i separated the head instead of just taking the parts out was that i would lose too much to make it obviously resemble ole' albert. thanks for the comments tho! :)

I would like to point out that whoever buys the shirt will know what the title is--and if they forget, isn't it printed on the inside collar?

1. yes people who don't know who escher is/what he did won't get regardless of text
2. BUT people who do know who escher is/what he did will just be like "uhh so .. your shirt has einstein .... and his face is like escher's art ... so what?" 3. THUS text would elucidate why the hell his face is like that for people who would 'get it' otherwise, sweet! i'd buy it! |

..........I don't care about anything. This is perfect the way it is. I don't care if Escher did it some way different, or if Einstein's theory of relativity will be debunked..... it's just lovely. I like the sandstone.

If you DO add the title to the shirt, I would definitely subdue it so that it blends with the shirt color and doesn't stand out much.... also, you might consider drawing it in chalk and scanning it instead of using a font. $5 |

I think the connection between MC^2 and MC Escher is pretty obvious, even if you don't think of the term "E=mc^2".
I'm a physics major taking relativity and I neeeed this shirt to be reprinted because I also like MC Escher. I give it full marks. |
