So true, although I wonder who'll go in the third hole... :)

I think the stone slabs should have been located at the other side of the empty hole, to keep the three tombs aligned.

i'm so tired of the theme though and somehow it makes it feel like you're telling the theme to die.

the shovel handle is incorrect eh? it should be flipped. It would be a great editorial illustration, good idea but not as a tee.

folks the theme is part of a contest, so you're gonna have to ride it out a bit longer. get with the program.

as for the T, great idea, but the headstones definitely need to be on the other end of the grave and overall something has to change with the layout for it to work as a t-shirt. it's just too awkward at the moment.

It's a cool design but from far away the stones look like Ipods. Although that could add even more interest to the concept... I would probably add curves to the tombstones and make them more "churchy"

nice perspective angle an element placement...i especially like the overlap of the cassette headstone...[light parts in the dark hole area and dark part in the light hole area, even the little bit of lost line where the light of both meet]

Replace the vinyls with 8-tracks or something, as vinyls still have a huge following, I dunno. I can see that. Actually, it's your design. Do as you please.

I laughed pretty good, I agree with making them look a little more gravestone-ish. I think it's funny that some people still don't understand that this theme is for a competition and that it's been going on for quite a while now, but whatever, they don't have to accept it if they don't want to. I like your "future thinking." I'm actually a little worried that CD's will die out, I could see it happening, but I doubt that we'll ever see files die out. Watch me be wrong.
(Well that was a freakin' novel)

I think it's really unique of an entry. There's another one that has tombstones and such, but it's advocating the life of cassettes.... interesting. I like this.

laurelxcore on Oct 18 '05
Vary the shape of the tombstones perhaps, they are looking a bit iPod-ish.

This design is awesome, because its very different from the other timeline of ways to listen to music. Most people do a blend or crazy design, but this is like the death of it. Which I really like.

This is excellent.
