Neat idea, but I think the cat is either too cartoony or not enough. It looks like you're trying to do both. And yeah the colors are not working together.

i'd make the monacle more defined
lose the fat cat text
put on a better shirt color
maybe some shading on the cat
that hat is in kind of a goofy angle

more shadowing to the cat should do it. you dont want to have to stare at it for a while to realize it is a cat. but i love it. though not the same reminds me of The Cure Song.

The bright green really doesn't match..

Maybe if that was different it would look nicer, maybe a darker green, or a grey?

hmmm... see, the drawing's great, but Fat Cat is kind of a term used to describe a person who, among other things, would NEVER WEAR THOSE COLOURS. not that i expect this shirt to be worn by actual fat cats, but still, i think the meaning would be a lot clearer in muted blues and grays, and the fornt was something a bit more scriptive.

I love that picture! lose the text and change the tee color and you would get a 5$ from me. As it stands now, I give it a 3 (mainly because it hurts my eyes).

Lose the text... I think a dark Turquiose would be a good backdrop color.
