Someone is bound to point out how similar this is to a previous ornage entry but I like this more, much more refined and the empty sheet music in the background is a great touch.

i didn't realize there was a submission similar to this, but after you pointed it out, i looked it up. i had no intention of recreating an existing idea, but with so many submissions by so many different people, i suppose it's bound to happen. i hope my design is well received anyway!

Aidyl I think it's a really intelligent design, and I like it, the only thing I would say is that if I wasn't aware of the contest being, "records, tapes and files", I wouldn't be sure what the last one's head was. The other guys have two colors on thier heads to distinguish, and that would have been a good idear with the file man.

greenmeansgo raises a good point, although i personally understood it was a file.
the one thing im on the fence about is the background. having that boxy feel and off-centered... it's kinda awkward. but i like the design itself a lot.
as of now i think its a 3 with potential.

i also saw another almost exactly the same however this is much better

i agree with the cd thing, but that's not a focus in the contest--this is for a contest, remember. also, i wasn't referring to my design as 'intelligent,' i was playing off of the thinly disguised creationist theory 'intelligent design' as opposed to evolution. but if i've learned one thing from threadless, it's not to get hung up on people's comments. this is certainly not one of the best urb submissions, but so what? people need to lighten up.

how i love intelligence...

How could the body evolve over a period0f time if it has to be complete to survive? How can a well thought out genious design come from a non-thinking source? Why are the planets a perfect circle?
