Wanna try un make some sense next time?
un = and
Anyone can make up "street slang" -- that doesn't make it right.

if it was just the cart and the 3 trucks it;de be a rad shirt.. the text is just ackward.
i think everyone understands that "ya" is slang for "your" .. it just doesnt mean anything.

Since it seems to be hard to read it in the right order, I'd suggest going for 2 print colors. Fill the "die rich" text with a medium tone color that works with your primary print color. That might help people read the first line, then the 2nd. I might also suggest, bringing the "?" out of the shape so it can be larger and in line with the last word of that phrase. (It would print in the primary color outside of the shape, instead of knocked out of that shape.)

I also want to say I like the Black on Orange.

want to try your record....what does that mean??

green-means-go on Oct 12 '05
*Sigh.*
There is an existing record, of a golf cart jumping 2 monster trucks, apparently. Perhaps the record holder is the same golf cart driver. Someone says to the golf cart driver: Wanna try ya' record? *Translation: Would you like to partake in an outlandish attempt to beat and possibly break your previous unbroken record at this same feat?*
The challenger then issues a further challenge: Die rich! *Translation: Though the accomplishment of this feat may indeed end up costing you your life, it is logical to assume that in the taking of this risk, you will die a man rich in fame and possible even monetary wealth.*
Okay? Everybody got it? :)

It probably should just be the golf cart and the trucks. It would be nicer and so much easier that way. :)

I do like the negative space text use, though

i'm so sorry that you have to put up with people being all "WTF THE TEXT DOESN'T MAKE PERFECT PROPER ENGLISH SENSE." Since when did anything on this site?
I like your design. I like how you use the text as both graphic art and the message intended.

I like how it makes people ask so many questions. That's a designers job to get people talking about the design the make, whether that be questions or comments, you've done a good job at getting people to think. The design is eye catching too, which is always a plus, right?

Oh man, green-means-go. Your translations are awesome! Can you translate everything for me? I'm quoting it so everyone can read it again; It's soooo good!

This is a fine design. I hope it gets printed. I like the way the words form a puzzle. (Whether it was intentional or not, I don't really care.)

i think it looks hot and i like the concept and i really don't think the slang 'ya' is that difficult to cope with. but it did take me a few minutes to work out what it was all about.
ejectorset
ejectorset on Oct 18 '05
the only thing that keeps buggin me about it is that if it is "ya" record, then you have already made the same jump successfully, otherwise it is "the" record. try to beat the record, die rich. more along those lines.

if you have already made the jump, the sense of danger isn't there, and the die rich part makes a lot less sense.
