the way the hand is positioned, it looks like shes pointing to her nose instead of giving the shush sign.

ya, like ben said, the hand position is a little off. That is the only thing bugging me

I think I get the hand positioning... is it meant to be someone else putting a finger on the woman's mouth to shush her? This would make sense considering the title and your comment. My first thought, though, was that it was her own hand, just strangely positioned and a bit large for a woman's hand. I really like the drawing/illustration (love the hair and glasses!), but I think it would work better if you could somehow make it a bit more clear that the hand belongs to a second person... assuming I'm right and it does... ;)

thanks for the comments, yes its a self potrait. this is how the actual picture is so somehow it didn't dawn on me that i can make the hand a bit smaller.
but this is my first, my next two are waaaaay better. check out profile!!!!
