okay. what is it?

there was something about this shirt that caught my eye as soon as i saw it (good colour combination, good drawing placement, beautiful design) and it's one of the few submissions i'd actually consider wearing... i also like the fact that you have to keep looking at it to figure out what's going on - but please, can you break the suspense and tell us already??

one thing that i thought when i first looked at it was that the nest flyaways were arrows and then i realized you probably weren't going for that, so maybe just fixing those up and placing them slightly better so it looks like they're fresh out of the nest (slightly different angles? i can't quite tell what's off about them). otherwise, omg: it's REALLY nice.

Is he stealing the eggs, and those feathery arrow things are trying to take them back? Or is he transferring them somewhere?

I love it. It's one of those shirts that would make people go, "WTF...?" "What is going on!?" ".........."

I guess to try and answer some of your questions without leading you to see this image in only one way, I should say it started as an experiment with figure and form. I really enjoy creating images that can be interpreted in many different ways, and it makes me happy that you are doing this. Yes, he is stealing the eggs. No, those are not arrows, but I can see how that is confusing. They are more like thistles. I agree with enamine in that they can probably be placed better. There was an inspiration for this image, but I really don't want to limit the way people view it. Like all art, I feel it should be left open for interpretation. Good feedback! Keep it coming.

definitely unusual. kept me looking at it for a while. would be interesting if the line width varied throughout the drawing. unless of course you're not into that. very intriguing all the same.
