I like this, but it might just be because my mom's side of the family thinks I'm it.

Ah, Karl, least funny of the Marx Brothers. The lower edge of the black shapes seems totally arbritrary, doesn't match definition of the faces. The paint splatter A: looks straight out of 1991, B: totally distracts from the theme of the graphic. Good concept, though.

I do agree that the paint is a bit distracting, but as for the straight out of 1991 remark: a good deal of trends right now are straight out of the early eighties to eary nineties, so that may not be wholly a bad thing. I find the blobular (how's that for a word?) bottom and side to the image a bit disturbing and perplexing. Of course, to balance that, it is a good concept.

I like yours better, too. I think you coulda made the figures a bit more recognizable and remained true to the concept, though.

Wonderful idea. To me, its not bad execution, just inconsistent in style. It looks like you spent 3 hours doing the face of Karl and 2 minutes doing everything else.

I love it. I like the blobs at the bottoms of their bottoms, and the paint splatters. It's well executed and is a nice design. You get a well deserved 4.

the well known three are groucho, harpo, and chiko, the lesser known is zippo who is depicted here, and the least known is gummo

and then karl who is unrelated to the marks brothers is on the far right.

oh and i didnt think you had done it as a copy, i know it was something you came up with on your own... im not trying to detract from your creativity.
