Rockslide on Sep 20 '05 I think this could be a fun idea, the concept is fun but the execution needs some work. The colors and illustration are still lacking. I'm sure you can come up with a more clever way to present this concept. Maybe if you could involve some hint of pirate-ness to the image.

Yeah I was thinking of putting a little more effort into this, working in a hat or an eye patch or something. We'll see how the feedback goes, I really had no intention of this being a submitted design, but it killed my wife. I kind like that you have to explain it....that way it is like telling a joke, punchline after punchline........"Hey man, what's with the corn?" "arrrrr, It's not just corn, it's a buck an ear"

It took me ages to realize what the hell the corn was. Define that, tweak the colors, and maybe change the font of the price part and i'd buy it.

Hahaha, I love it! I kindof agree with some of the other comments about refining the picture. I think an outline around the corn, similar to what you have around the text, would go a long way. Either way, I'd buy it in a heart beat.

OOOOOOOOO.....i looked at this for like 5m inutes till i read a comment about the *buck-an-ear*. yeah, i thot i was looking for a hidden image of a pirate, like when you squint to see a picture. defintely a conversation starter since u'd have to explain it. funny actually, in corn country. I'd buy it iff the 1.00 was a little more understated.
