Do you mean to say "Sold" or is the "Souled" a second play on words?

it's because converse (the chuck taylor shoe sole is seen on the design) was sold (the soul of the sole was sold, i suppose) to nike.. very sad. poignant idea, but the design seems rushed. maybe spend more time on it and it will be better.. good idea, though. at least you can still buy chuck taylor's without a nike swoosh on them. but for how long? Funny. The art could use some work especially the devil.

Seems like this would be on a name brand shoe shirt or box.

The tag looks good but need some thing different. Maybe the chuck taylor star, or the cents symbol

why are people over analyzing this??? i cant believe this was designed because nike bought out converse. its a good play on words, like inflatemouse' comment. also like the weird artwork on the devil.5$

I'd like it better if the devil looked different, but I'd wear it anyway.

I like the wild things devil and the sole design. I think it would be very buy-able without the "souled" tag. Double puns aren't quite as fun as a nice simple play on words. People would quickly and easilly get that you "sold your sole to the devil" but the "souled" tag would make them have to think longer on the pun, making it slightly less enjoyable.

I think the tag needs to go. Plus, the Bible font is just sort of tacky. But I like the original pun, and if people go into Nike and Chuck Taylor, great.

I personally take it as meaning that shoes these days are ridiculously overpriced. I personally don't see how people can complain about high gas prices and then buy a white piece of rubber for 200$.

Which, by the way, gets a 5$ from me.

5.... take the tag off, and it will be $5. i actually collect converse, and while the ones that are as old as i am are absolute treasures, i am actually GLAD nike bought them out. converse was absolutely bankrupt, and if nike hadnt stepped in, they would be non existent now. yeah, they used to be more well made, but at least there are new designs now.
