Sweet design & I too like the use of the shadow/stripe concept. I will agree with the idea to put it on one side or the other tho, right down the center looks kinda odd to me.

sorry to ruin peoples thoughts that this is paint/painting. sorry but its a window cleaner. nothing to do with paint. bad placement but i like it anyway

The man would be pulling the squeegee toward himself. That's how you squeegee. It appears that he is pushing it away from himself.

i like it centered because it IS a little uncomfortable.
the position of his elbow led me to believe the squeegee is being pulled toward, not pushed away. the color/contrast let's you wonder about that, too, though...hard to tell if it's something going ON or something coming OFF. i like |

Agree with all the others that say to move it off center - would be an awesome deisgn were it not for the centering. >.<

move to the side, and if he's supposed to be a window cleaner: 1) squeegees are pulled towards self, 2) put a window-frame to make it more obvious. rather like the idea, even if there's another one on here with a similar idea. and another color, periwinkle or light green, maybe.
