I typically would never wear a shirt like this (the sexy girl type shirts), but I would buy this one in a heartbeat. It is sexy without being offensive or blatant, and the rubber duck makes it realy funny.

This is quite the argument for "sex sells." One of her fingers comes to an absolute point and she only has three toes on one foot... odd how hardly anyone seems to notice or care, when that sort of thing would rain down criticism on any other design.
Sorry, not buying. I have nothing against nude women, but I take wit and creativity over blatent sexuality. |

SemantiTheft - I think you're getting just a little carried away with the "sex sells" argument. I think so many people like this design because of its creativity and skillfull representation, not solely because of its sexuality. Plus, Mickey has 3 fingers! So many cartoons have 'wrong' anatomy, but this adds to the charm and fun of the art. One of the fundamental laws of animation and illustration is that there are no rules of this sort.

Yeah... except that Mickey is a cartoon mouse, drawn from scratch. This is obviously a human, and the errors seem to be just that, nothing so intentional. There is nothing I value more than creativity, but a chick bathing in a wheelbarrow is nothing new or groundbreaking. Just my opinion.
However, I love the rubber ducky with his eyes popping out, I feel that is a nice detail. |
