Really cute. I like how you set it off center a little bit, it makes the shirt more interesting. I like the text there, I think it works cause it is so small so you can look at the shirt and think "Oh, that is pretty," then you read it and you realize what's up.

I think the design would still be good if shrunk a little bit more.

Without the text, it'd be off centre/off balance for no reason. If it was centred, it'd look less interesting. The text works for the design.

I adore the text. It really makes the shirt for me, otherwise I wouldn't have understood it. I saw a lot of sperm shirts when I was in Switzerland.. and they made no sense to me, because they had nothing stating it. I really like this one though. Sex Cells.. certainly so! 5 from me, doll.

I like the text. Otherwise it's too close to a weird drawing of a sun or something. But the idea of having the text on the back works as well. I think the punchline would still be effective.

Yeah, keep the text. Because yeah, from a distance, it would look like a pretty sun design...and then you get upclose and BAM, look, it's sperm. And I personally would not want to wear a shirt with sperm on it, but with the text, it would make it worth it.

I like the text, it's dumb to be categorically opposed to puns, Shakespeare used them quite a lot, and I like how it looks like a sun at first but it turns out to be sperm and an egg

I actually thought about doing this design without the text and after a long deliberation decided to keep it in, but small as to not hit people over the head with the joke. I think the concept works better with the text left in. I could agree with the comments about making it a bit smaller, though. As this is my first Threadless submission, I am a little underinformed as to how that works. If this design is selected, do the art directors at Threadless size it to their liking? |

I think this tshirt is faboo. I like biology, pictures that are something other than what you think, puns, and sex, so this is a great tshirt for me. I hope it gets printed, because I have myself and two friends who want one already.

By the way, I was riding the subway this morning and I saw the front page of the free AM NY newspaper:
"SEX CELLS" http://www.nynewsday.com/other/special/amny/ They came up with my pun one week and a day after my entry was submitted! Now, I'm not saying I gave them any ideas. But that certainly was great timing. |

Its a good drawing but i dont really like the concept. I wouldn't where this as it's just showing what it is. there isn't any joke there, and why do you need the text? its just pointless. How is it a pun?!?!?!? Its like having a picture of a tree and saying "this is a tree." In my view it would have been bettr smaller and no text.

LOL, Sorry i got to agree with Lovely amy about the pun thing. I dont understand why people are doing backflips for it. As for the design, it's ok. Would have been better if you used more than 2 sperm copy and pasted. Definatly loose the text, or the "pun"

umm i dont like it, design is good and without the text wouldnt have understood it but because of the text it doesnt look as good sort of catch 22.

Not really keen myself. I think i might be missing something as i dont see a pun at all. i also agree with dave. copy and paste just shows laziness and doesn't look good on a tee. I assume its a good idea, i assume cos i dont get it, but some do, perhaps it could have been shown in a different way?

If the pun is wat DTLA says, then firstly its not clear, secondly, sory but it isnt that funny. its a good drawing, but ive seen the idea so many times it is a bit dull now, which is why im a bit confused with all these 5$ comments. its not for me im afraid.

I'll be interested to see hat the final score for this tee is cos of all the feedback is either love it or hate it. Like your first comment said, "Who's Buying?" Wouldn't be me cos it would walk round wit a copied and pasted sperm and and big egg on my tee
