reminds me of all those retarded drawing tests our art teachers used to make us do in high school.........she told me cartoons where not art and my faith in humanity died a little that day.....
Aw, thats sad Pete. In seventh grade, I had an art teacher make fun of my work in front of my peers because the lightening I was drawing was unrealistic (read: too cartoon like). What a bitch.

Oh duh. Ignore that comment. You're using that red for the apple. Sorry, ignore stupid comment. Thanx.
Cool concept
I've never seen grapes with a identity sticker directly on them. Usually they're in a plastic bag. Sorry, if I'm being too nit picky. |
haha
I love the fact that those are actually the numbers that are on fruit when they get sold. I use to work at a grocery store and we had to memorize the PLU numbers. |
I agree that the banana should be the other way up... but I pity anyone who is not aware of green grapes!
Subtle but awesome...
Yeah, the banana would be better flipped. But otherwise, very cool. Oh and, ah, yeah...there are green grapes..-_-; |
Ah reminds me of when I briefly worked as a cashier.. I was never able to memorize all those damn produce codes.
Most of those PlU number's are used just about everywhere. Bananas are the first one most people memorize. Nice shirt!
omg i work at shoprite... your shirt is horrifying to me... i know all PLU codes.
(that apple is more of a 4171, and the orange more a 3108) |
I concur with the other people mentioning that the PLU numbers make it extra awesome! Grocery store cashiers, old & new, unite!!
I love that the PLU numbers are correct. I worked at this upscale asshole grocery store. Ask me the code for kumquats. Or shallots!
What's the PLU for Pluots. I BET YOU DON'T KNOW THAT ONE NOW DO YOU.
Neither do I. I would have to go back to where I used to work and look at the stickers. |
