Magno don't worry about these people they're the type who thinks there better then others because they're "artist". Now then It's clean but the lights just seem off to me. It's more interesting then just the text shirt (as in Family Guy), perhaps you should try spread shirt or another create your own store, website.

Ohh and another thing CONSTRUCTIVE CONTRICISM SHEESH HOW HARD IS THAT TOO UNDERSTAND.

if someone wore this they would maybe get beat up.
plus beside shock value the design is whatever.

it's called mr offensive guys, i think he realises that it isn't an acceptible sentiment. i see it as a comment on the boldness of some people's bad taste, not bad taste itself. It's actually a pretty nice looking design and very clever use of the 4 colour limit.

the problem with the shirt, is it provides no context for the humour. the irony of calling it is totaly lost for three major reasons. 1) self esteem is heavily linked to weight in the western world (an unfortionat cicumstance) 2) somebody just seeing the shirt will not understand that its ment to be ironic, or many wont. and 3) a lot of people would buy it with out fully getting the irony.

the design itself is excelent.

I know its a little mean but i thought it had to do with Family Guy!

Technically, this design is well done. Contextually, it is very disappointing.
bryanbeats
bryanbeats on Sep 08 '05
Hey, I like the design. It is very well done. The context just expresses one's personal taste. The critics in the beginning are shunning it like he was saying, "Yeah for baby killers", "Or free Saddam Now". Fat chicks are people too, and just like people who like to wear pink shirts and bell bottoms, the chubby chasers pick up the slack for the men who cant hang.

constructive criticism: just no... the best improvement you could make on this shirt is scrapping it entirely. without being angry/offended/otherdramatic emotion, i have to say that i would never wear this shirt and find its subject to be, as others have pointed out, insensitive, no matter what the context.

Lose the lights on the words and I think it will be good. Shock value is a good seller.

TO THE MILLION PEOPLE ABOVE ME WHO DON'T GET IT... "No Fat Chicks" is a slogan that's on a million shirts, like in the Family Guy episode someone mentioned, and it's been other places to.

Jesus Christ, don't be so over-sensitive. Obviously the slogan itself is a joke, and it uses the slogan in an original, semi-ironic way to boot.

You're all probably just pissed that the text will look weird and stretched when you try and squeeze into the XL (I'm joking by the way, don't rip my balls off).

too many people around here have no idea what the word "irony" actually means. yet they use is CONSTANTLY trying to sound witty and urbane. (look, now i've confused them with another constantly misused word- "urbane".)

candycoatedpain on Sep 10 '05
It's just a shirt. Everyone totally went overboard about it. Do you get up and start screaming at the guys with the lowriders driving around with this on their bumper stickers? It's funny because they're the ones who really mean it.

I don't care for it myself, but it's a nice design. Don't take it down for anyone because it's still art, and art makes statements.
I'm fat myself, it doesn't bother me.

HAHHAHA. fucking great. People need to lighten up with this PC bull shit they've been fed to them their whole lives. A secure fat chick with has a right to be fat if she wants and probably wouldn't give a shit about a little tshit. Insecure ones can change if they want, it's not like they're forced to be fat. Burnburn got it right on the money.

Your constructive critism you were actually looking for: The lighting does look a little off. Maybe it would look a little better with more change in light intensity (or the illusion of ) so it looked a bit more like spotlights.

p.s. family guy rules

p.p.s. All you dildos need to lighten the fuck up and laugh at yourself or else life is going to seem a loooot longer than you want it to be.

I really like the idea. The whole billboard thing looks really neat.

But that's fucking mean.
GamerJV
GamerJV on Sep 11 '05
It's a recycled idea and the billboard seems out of place and too angled. The lights were a good idea but they mess up the text which are too tall (maybe because of the angle) I don't like it very much 2

MysticFaerie

I agree with 336, it LOOKS nice, but the slogan is incredibly overused. I've seen so many shirts with this on it, and no matter what you do to it, it's not going to get any better.
I AM a fat chick so I didn't like the slogan in the first place, but whatev. Next time though, just do a more original phrase. You've got the art part pretty much down.

There is nothing wrong with the design.

However, iIf you feel so strong about fat people that you have to wear a t-shirt pointing out that you don't like them, you are just sad. But for some reason I think that this is just some kind of Beavies and Butthead humour coming out of insecure people, like most of these kind of comments do.
