actually, i thought about using catnip.. but it's not easily recognisable, it looks almost identical to grass.

Catnip doesn't look like grass - cat GRASS looks like grass. Catnip is leafy. But still, probably a lot of people wouldn't be able to identify catnip as a fresh plant by sight.
