It’s a picture of a guy meditating, listening to a quadraphonic set up- 4 speakers.
Back in the 70s, quadraphonic sound was one of the earliest consumer offerings of multi-channel audio, available on eight track, vinyl and reels. Some of the most popular quadraphonic albums were the psychedelics, include Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon, and the Who’s Quadraphinia- though bands from Aerosmith to Z Z Top all experimented with this format. |

Quadraphonic is a type of surrond sound, surround sound just means the sound surrounds you.

i myself have a quadraphonic turntable so i would def. wear this. i also dig guys in dress shirts and ties. esp. nerdy guys. |

I get it now after reading...still not a huge fan, seems a little too simple for me. Maybe some extras like soundwaves or music notes coming from the spreakers would give it an added effect, right now it just seems dull.

Kind of a neat concept! His hair reminds me of the main kid in Little Rascals (I dont like). I personally dont like red shirts unless it helps the content.

this is really preaty darn cool. i love quadriphonic sound, its some how richer and less rich at the same time.
theres a flaming lips album called zairika (or somwat) that uses four disks which are to be played in 4 different sterios at once. is this an example of neo-quad sound? |

i agree with quoperate on the red. i am red racist. i guess it doesnt matter. i wouldnt wear it anyway but i think its a cool design. yeah maybe i woul dlike it better if he was standing but if that blows the whole purpose its not a big deal
