This shirt design is based on an old poster printed by The Weather Underground, a radical underground group that split off from the Students for a Democratic Society in the late sixties and proceeded to prosecute a bombing campaign against targets they saw as representational of imperialism and social injustice. The group had sort of immature ideals and disbanded after a decade of largely ineffectual actions, but their posters were sweet. Were it printed, I would wear this shirt just to start conversation.

Do you mean "Peace" by any chance? I was also thinking of the comment "'Piece No'w of what?" but thought the former might be a bit more constructive. |

Not only is the word piece a homonym for "peace" but it's also a term for gun, hence the irony of this message. get it ??? |
