great face, great lettering... but i just can't get past the age-old message.

How is it a witty twist? The phrase is " I went to ______ and all I got was this lousy t-shirt." He's just using the phrase again. I mean I like the Lenin picture on there and the joke and all, but it isn't a witty twist.

your a poor soul, with less luck than you deserve. i'm going to give you a 5 out of sympathy, but also because i did quite enjoy the use of that frustratingly pitiful phrase. pre-7th july i wanted to do an "i survived" T-shirt, relating to the vulnerability of the london underground and the countdown to its' attack. didn't have the balls then, and certainly don't now

I agree about getting rid of the hyphen - other than that, it's terrific. I laughed when I read it...the phrase is cliche, but that's why everyone who sees it will "get" it, unlike some of the shirts on here.

Ava Adore, that'd be Family Guy. It's actually a line from a Russian comedian that just about every show in history has referenced to at one time or another. I wouldn't be surprised if American Dad has already said it. but that will remain a mystery since no one watches American Dad.

I agree with the guy who says "and all everyone got" instead of "all i got" but I think the lettering should be more formal and constrained, I think maybe a lettering style which might be more accurate of the period, would contrast with the message
