I really do like it, but people have to face the music. Another Darth Vader shirt is NOT going to be printed. Actually it's probably safe to say that yet another Star Wars shirt won't be printed.

Wicked, if darth is copywrited then someone has already broken it with the "darth likes gardening" T, so no worries, its amazing, A+ 5/5 i'd buy it!

I know for fact that Lucas Arts will not allow this for print. It is obviously Vader. The piece is well done mind you. But I have a hole slew of fanart from Star Wars that I was told couldnt be sold as anything, be it prints, t-shirts, or otherwise from Lucas Art themselves. I dont think Lucas Arts is someone you want to fight either.
Nice work though. I wish we could do fanart for sale, but by American © that can not be done. I know, I asked. |

it's a very nice design. but as said above, it's not going to get printed because "Dark Side of the Garden" basically covers that niche for the time being (maybe years from now).
second, i think the copyright issue with darth vader may be his mask, explaining why Dark Side of the Garden is permissable... but parody is also a loophole in the standard rules. so, dumbo, if you add some bananas growing out of dath vader's ears you may be okay to print that fanart. |
