thanks, being relatively new to the site, I tried to do my homework and check out as many past entries as I could... I must have missedit!

Still one of my favorite games from school. Now that I live in Minnesota, they don't play duck duck goose...

they play duck duck grey duck.

thanks I say.... the problem was that ducks look JUST LIKE geese when sitting down. And they had to be sitting down, because thats how the game duck duck goose works.

So unless I colored them like mallards, you really wouldnt know what they were. Ducks are bland and muddle brown colors. Nothing really stands out on them... and the joke wouldn't have made quite the impact. I tried it frist.. believe me. I figured that since the goose was simple enough that having something iconic like a rubber duck would be simple enough and get the message across.

I love your shirt. Brings back so many memories of bad accents and bad cultural flaws.

i made the mistake of playing with my shoe untied once... i had the same disaster you did haha. After that I got those rad little shoelace biter things in the shape of sesame street characters. i was the coolest. (atlest in my own mind)

No keep the ducks looking like rubber duckies, but maybe make the goose static... you know just standing there, so it flows better.

Oh, I'm such a dummy, forget what I just said, I got the whole "duck duck goose" thing, but I forgot you run when someone says goose. I wasn't thinking. Leave it as it is.

aw this is really cute.

Good concept. But it looks a little akward with the goose and the ducks of different styles. Maybe put two duck heads and a goose head instead of the full bodies. Maybe try changing the ducks' appearance too, perhaps like the aflack duck, the white body and orange beak.

psdean21... I started out doing the ducks different as I stated above. But I didn't want just heads, because the whole point is that one is running away. (the goose... ya know he runs because thats how the game works). So doing just heads was out of the question. And if you look at them for just the heads... its super boring. And looks a little too much like the bad nature shirts you find at walmart in the clearance section.

as for changing the colors... I tried that. It just didn't work. Because there are geese that look just like the aflack duck. Identical actually. So the only way I could make them completely different, and make you able to tell the difference between them at just a mere glance, was to make them rubber ducks. I could have made them mallard ducks, because they have green heads, but I just wasnt down with the colors.

Anyway, I just thought you would like to know the reason why I chose to do what I did design wise. I know everyone always has an opinion about what they think it should be changed too... but design wise, some things, just don't work out well.
