It'd be better if you could have somehow had the king and queen different colours.

Clever, but like little_hobbit_feet was saying, make the queen pink and the king blue. Otherwise they look a lot like the same piece.

no way, I would buy this the way it is - maybe a little smaller would be better - color symbolism would ruin it (blue & pink) BUT, here you have the 'girl' tromping the 'guy' who's on her same team... So the king could be just darker tones of the queen. I love it tho.

I would buy this if the image was a lot smaller. Right now it's overwhelming the shirt.

I think that you're trying too hard to make it like a picture. It would have been just as good as just a plain black and white shirt without the shading attempt.

i like the idea, but maybe have the queen kicking the king, like when you kick pieces out of the way in chess. or cant the queen do that in chess? no matter, if 'girls rule' shes going to do it her own way. it reminds me too much of a sex implication right now.

meh- i thought your chess club one was pretty rad cos it had such an eighties feel to it and the picture worked well but this is pretty weak. like, cliche. and like, boring. "jazz it up" (hahaha, jazz), make it more dynamic- it doesn't pop, it doesn't work as a subtle "oh i get it" kinda thing... it needs reworking. just yeah, kinda, blah.

well, kinda just repaying the favour...
so petty really isn't it. seriously - it has potential conseptually and although it's well rendered it doesn't have anything amazing which makes it stand out. no offense, it's just very middle of the road right now. |
