This is very nice. I didn't feel good about the stripes around the sun.. I thought the background landscape didn't quiet lend itself well with the rich foreground. But I give it a 5 for the nice work of the characters.

that the man is "threadless" (naked) bugs me, cause the other dude gets a robe... But I love it nonethe less. I like the colors.
But, you have cross hatching on the hill, straight lines on the mountain, a weird ring around the halo? in front of the mountain, and wavy lines in the sky. It doesn't hang together as much as I wish it did. |

Luke... on Aug 22 '05 this has a nicely laid out compisition, but i agree with "howlynart" that the various stlyes included in the design dont match or mesh together...and i would like to add that the differrence in style with the trees stands out....but i really like the illustration of the cthulhu...

having 2 different stlyes of trees here is distracting. the hand drawn pale green tree distracts from his lovely wings, while the photo style tree doesn't seem to belong here at all. I really do Not like the early 90's style stripes on the mountain. But otherwise I really do like this! honest.

This is very very nice with ice!
One thing I was totally bothered with is the shape of the white and yellow the background is taking. Prefer it be not there at all, as well as the sun and the stairway thing. So that the oct and the man be more in focus, thus it is clear that the white and yellow colors are distracting it. |

any Cthulhu is better than no Cthulhu...but i kinda wished he looked more...um...menacing? not to say that he should be scary, but some dragon claws would be nice, hehe. good shirt either way.
