"threadless peeps" don't hate text. We just don't like it where it's not needed. In my opinion, it's needed here; otherwise it would be just another shirt with a pirate on it. I like this one a lot, good job.

this is funny it just there's something about the nose that i don't like. it makes me think of a teddy bear nose and especially because the eye patch is like right there, i dunno, i feel it looks sort of awkward

matt_t: There is a music pirate t-shirt on Jinx, among other places, but it's nothing like this one. The others are skull & crossbones/Jolly Roger type designs. I think this would appeal (or not) to a fairly different demographic (of music pirates...).

This isn't really text in the normal sense. These are cards, and if the cards have text, then SO BEIT! Plus, without the text I would be totally lost.

the pirate looks like a half clown. add some detail or something, but fix up that nose for sure.

I'm not a big fan of that nose.

I agree that this piece needs the text. Of course it does, otherwise the whole card concept is lost. I just think the text needs more attention. Pick a font with a slight bit more character maybe. Play with scale and weight, and please kearn the Pp closer together. If its the text that makes the concept come together, dont just type it out and throw it down as is. Im not saying go over the top. Even just having the Mm and Pp bold and a little larger than the other text will create interesting contrast between the 2.

I think it would be great to have a realistic pirate playing guitar.
