I added the text in at the bottom, just because I wasn't sure if it wouold convey the right message, as opposed to random snack treats in the sky. So if it prints, I am not against removing the text whatsoever. Thanks for the feedback! |

Great concept. Text is unnecessary . Works best in the white t. Maybe take out the blue box and outline the clouds so it would work better on all?

thomkat73 you're right, I could take away the blue box so it would work on any color shirt.... thats no problem. I put the blue background in and i fell in love with how the clouds broke the borders and blended with the shirt, and the box kinda stuck. Thanks for the comment!

the text and the clouds breaking the box of blue makes the abrupt color change not bug me as much. i agree with injosh though, a "sea of blue and possibly no test would be cool. great concept. 4

There are a few other popsicle shirts out there.... I think there is two other ones in the running as we speak. Apparently we were all hot and wanted a snack, because we were all approved at the same time :) Good eye though! |

The text makes it look kind of chintzy and "Good Housekeeping" model-ish, but I love the idea behind it.

THE BEST DAMN POPSICLE EVER!! I will be sad if this doesn't get printed. The only thing I think would make it cooler to me is if you put the silohuette of an airplane flying away in the top right corner of the design. Oh yeah and I agree, text can go.

KRBY... I almost decided to put the plane in the design.... thats why I ended up putting the text in since I decided to veto the airplane. I had it in the design originally, but it was distracting from the main idea of the shirt. So I went with the text instead! Thanks for the comment, great minds think alike again!!

They make something called a Rocket Pop, and they might make a missle pop, but I don't think I have seen it before.... but bomb pops are the original. (now available in sugar free) haha.

A) Remove the text.
B) Put it ona blue shirt and remove the "box" on the design. A + B = Much better shirt. |

ratbert49.... I am not opposed to removing the text, but I am partial to the box. That is what creates the actual look of the shirt. If you remove the box then you just have popsicles floating around in the air somewhere.... and that wasn't what I was going for.

holly.... I tried that before I submitted the entry, because I thought the same thing as well. But then most everything in the design was breaking the border, and nothing was really grounded to the border, and it appeared to be a little too chaotic. I REALLY wanted it to work out though, because as you said... it would have been fun!

i know it might feel a little boxed in, but i wanted the design to be grounded to something herekittykitty, otherwise it was just random popsicles in the sky. and so many shirts are completely random around here. But it would be super duper if you played nice with others in comment land.

Dont touch it! You change anything on this shirt, and it becomes run of the mill. The background gives it substance, the text gives it political comentary. DONT CHANGE A THING.

no text and different style of drawing. the popsicles should be melting more and maybe more of a birdseye view of one of the popsicles iwth other popsicles around it and some silhouetes of people below eating fudgesicles? i dont know im pulling htis out of my ass.

mikey... i didnt want the ground perspective, i didnt want anything melting, and i certainly didnt want any fudgcicles.
