A little too obscure a reference. But, if you totally revamp the meaning by replacing the donkey, dog, and cat with some more delicious animals, and remove the text you've got a winner in my book.

I don´t know if the Grimms Tales are as famous in the US than they are here in Germany...there have been some shirts on threadless referring to Grimms Tales and they were missunderstood too.
