Get funky, I toyed with some different shapes to form the eye, and decided on this as the best. Part of my reasoning was that the figure is Bebban of the band and part of her look is dark eye makeup. Also the darkened eyes give a feeling of sadness and tiredness which fit the song "The Comeback".

Well, I designed it to stand alone without the knowledge of who the figure is. Bebban here plays the archetypal ex-lover, this combined with the connection to the band makes this design, I think, a proper fashion shirt as well as a band tee.
