It looks great on most of the lighter colors, it doesn't work on the darker ones since it blends with them too easily and you cannot read the text as well. This is my first submitted design, and I am really hoping you guys like it! If there's anything I should change about it, feel free to say so! It's 100% original :)

Perfect the way it is, but yeah, just a little bit higher on the shirt. And the lighter colours do work better - probably best in light blue. 5$

The mom looks like a ballerina... No complaints, though. I think it looks great the way it is.

The words seem to make it unbalanced, t-shirt-wise (it's a great image on its own), but then it doesn't really work without them. It might just look better if you removed the mother completely. It's cute with just the kid and her big pet. :D

I find it odd that the mother is dressed and posing as a ballerina (50s housewife would make more sense), but I do like it in spite of that.

That's really good! I remember that too, my mom could never say either way. If you could somehow incorporate the little girl asking her father and him saying, "Go ask your Mother"...like maybe on the back or something...that always happened to me. "Go ask your Father"..."Go ask your Mother"...but it's really cool the way it is.

the mom's dress bugs me too. Why do they have matching outfits?
cute idea though. maybe move the words to the bottom? I just dont like cartoon balloon talking unless it's really on a comic strip. |

ok - the text would be better if it was raised to or above her head - and i'd like it without the bubble around it.
mom's stance is a little funky - but i could live with that. Homeschool Winner has the winning comment: you need the girl alone in front of her dad (A: in a recliner, reading the paper, with a pipe, or B: standing in a suit and fedora with briefcase) and the text "go ask your mother" on the back - that would be perfection. |

Everyone's been really helpful so far and you pointed out quite a few things I wouldn't have noticed myself (although I do realize I should have worked on the mother some more...she does indeed resemble a ballerina.)

I like it, but as always - if you want my two cents - text isn't the best. Perhaps if the girl was clasping her hands in front of her and bending her legs a bit in the "please" position?
Then I'd buy. For now, you just get a big fat 5. |

I absolutely love this one. I would like the speech bubble higher, so that it's not coming out of the mom's elbow, but even so, I would buy it because I love it and it's the best thing ever. 5$!!!!!

To put that in context, here's what the last three shirts to get printed scored: Heroes in an Art Shell - 2.88 Predicament - 3.98 Beasts - 2.78 ...and a couple of recent reprints Flowers in the Attic - 3.79 Damn Scientists - 2.77 There's a lot more to Threadless than just score ("I'd buy it" numbers, whether or not the Powers That Be like the design, etc.), but 3.41 is a lot better than "not bad". |
