ewww @ the text. I would get it if it didn't have the text because i love dinosaurs. but you ruined it with text.

yeah, the text isn't great, but I love the idea.

Oh wow, that sucks...my option button got killed when I submitted the design. There were different versions/colors. Ugh.

Anyways, if I removed the text it defeats the whole purpose of the design. There's already a million shirts with a silly dionsaur on it.

Ha ha, I like the Thesaurus idea, but I dont think the text does it justice... And I dont just mean "Remove the text"... clearly you need text... but something else... Ar, I wish I could come up with something

Taking out the text kind of contradicts the title of shirt.

maybe put the title in somewhere? The title doesn't immediatly strike me when I look at the shirt

I think it's not the text that's the problem, it's the font. And I really doubt anyone looking at my shirt would understand that it was supposed to be a Thesaurus. People would just assume it's a friendly dinosaur giving praise - so I think that "thesaurus" should be included in the design somewhere.

Okay, I understand some people don't like the font.

But, instead of just telling me you don't like it..how about telling me why? Or giving me a suggestion of a different one? See, I don't understand why you guys don't like it. I thought it fit the design. [Prehistoric...dinosaur..rough.]

Putting the title on the shirt isn't going to happen. That would just be redundant and a lot more people would complain about it being on there. It's not supposed to be something that you get right away, but it's clear enough that plenty of people have gotten the "joke" without being told the title. Maybe the people that don't "get it" right away should try ...reading more?


Ugh. Sorry, I don't mean to be defending the design, I really hate when people do that. I'd really appreciate it though if people left comments telling me WHY they don't like certain aspects, and WHAT would make it better, instead of just a general "I don't like it" response. Because, this is actually one of the few designs I've done that I actually like and thought seemed marketable.

Maybe the dinosaur could be wearing a little badge that says "THESAURUS" on it? As if that's his job or something... That might make the joke more clear.

I like the font. It works well with the idea. I like the badge idea, too, but it might be too small unless the dinosaur were bigger.

This is awesome, I definitely prefer the white eyes.

I think the font's fine, personally. Maybe it'd get the message across a little better if the words were more "thesaurus-y". I guess. Maybe find some more obscure words or something.

Definately like the idea, though, and I think it wouldn't be something you'd get all at once no matter how you do it--but that's not a bad thing.

i like the concept alot...and as for getting the idea that its a thesaurus perhaps you could have it holding one. and the text/font issue...make it look like an entry for one of the words?

i agree with the text issue. it wouldn't be funny if removed, but it's not funny now without the title. dilemma, dilemma. the dinosaur's awesome, though.

Great design, but I think it would work better if the three synonyms you used were

* spontaneous*
*instinctive*
* automatic*

That would also tie-in with the dinosaur theme (ie- animal instinct) and would work better than what's there now.

Also, the name badge idea really would seal the deal on this shirt. Great dinosaur design! :)

It's nifty. I agree with whomever said to add a thesaurus in the dino's hand. It would definetely make a LOT more sense. I give it a 4.

when I said the text isn't great, I mean the font is boring, and the words themselves don't portray thesaurus to me, maybe something completely different like what citycynic said, I don't know. I still gave it a 4.

Damn! Way too late to up the average score and get one of these. It's terrific! Cute, cool and an effective filter to sift out the literary & playful from the - people who would like to see a badge with 'I'm a thesaurus' on it.
