Actually, the game is Go:

Experienced players will notice that the black and white "eyes" have been captured and should be removed from the board. However, they're important to the overall design and I decided to leave them in.

GO! I just watched the movie Pi yesterday. I imagine you've seen it, but if you haven't, it's a great film and and how I came to learn of the existence of the Go board. I really hope to see this printed!

Pi is amazing, as is Aronofsky's other film Requiem for a Dream. He's also working on a new one called The Fountain.

As an amateur go player, i'm really just beginning to appreciate the art in the shapes that appear when you actually play..

But I still can't get over just making shapes that are completely impossible, like this one! :DD

I don't know this game- (at first I thought Othello, but each piece has a b & w side)
