smokey is an anthropomorphism. its like when you have an animal or something non-human acting like a human-- wearing pants and a hat and being a park ranger and such. but its spelled wrong on the shirt...

Great use of Smokey, love the colors and the size of the graphic is perfect. Wouldn't mind it centered on the shirt, but fine where it is, too. Fix the sign and it's gonna be a keeper.

what's wrong with people pointing out that things are copyrighted?
you don't have to be a lawyer to recognise a trademark infringement when you see it. Did you know Smokey can be licensed from the Forest Service? www.smokeybearlicensing.com and there are already T-shirts out there. I doubt this one would be approved, even though it's pretty harmless. |

I agree with above posts. Smaller graphics, correct spelling, and maybe an addition of "help" above prevent anthropomorphism. Nice idea though.

No, smokey is an anthropomorph- creaing smokey was anthropomorphism. Anyway, this is'n't even your art! I mean, it's not like you just ripped off the character, this is clearly just a typed-on smokey image. ZERO.

Good concept, and I like the fact that you've managed to such a good word on a shirt... but did you draw the bear, or just borrow it from the real Smokey Bear? And as for copyright issues... if it comes down to it, you'd still get it if it didnt say Smokey on his hat and belt.

The only thing that needs to be worked on is the sign. Wider would be better. It needs to look like Smokey, otherwise it's not as funny.
