love the style of the flowers, would be interesting to see some color combos.
checked out your website, thought the dog & dolphin astronauts were great, you should submit that into the regular contest or even for the NY Superspeces contest, people will love it.
different colors!! try things out. chocolate, dark burgundy, navy, and that eerie chartreuse -- see what you can do combining those. or put this on a different color shirt (dark grey?). i love the style, but you do need to play around with it a little more :) 4
this design was submitted for the eisley competition, and the most specific deadline information i could find for that competition was "ends august 01." since it seemed that the site didn't specify whether that meant before august 1st, or by the end of august 1st, or to what time zone it was referring, i had to assume the tightest deadline. as a result, i was in a severe rush to get this in. and all of that is why i didn't have time to work up alternate color schemes, as was my original intention.
although i do enjoy the subtlety of the greys, i agree with those of you who have written that more color would be nice here.
i'm new to threadless, and i don't know if messing with a design in the event that it's chosen is permitted; but, if this one were chosen, i would certainly like to engage in such messing.
[plenty of color in my other designs, so please have a look.]
owen etc. -- what you can do is make a couple alternate (color) versions, and post a link here in the comments. i think most people are smart enough to figure out "these would be offered too if the design were printed." nothing to lose, certainly.
